Tasting Notes

Cheshire is in fact Britain's oldest cheese dating back before the Roman times. Appleby's Cheshire is a unique Cheshire, with a crumbly texture and zesty full bodied tangy flavour. Traditionally made the only raw milk clothbound farmhouse Cheshire in production. Having a distinct orange colour (with added annatto) and naturally looking rind.


Additional Information

Made in Shropshire by Hawkstone Abbey Farm using raw unpasteurised cows milk. Matured for up to 6 months and is not suitable for vegetarians
