About Me
As far back as I can remember I’ve always been interested in food, what I was eating and where it came from. Good food has always been in the family; my grandparents ran a prestigious hotel, and my father was a trained Chef then transferred his skills and became a lecturer at university. It was my mother who introduced me to cheese. Working in the artisan cheese industry she made cheese daily for 20 years. During this time, she ran a cheese stall at local farmers’ markets. She was quite the entrepreneur back in the day, as this was long before all the trendy farm shops you see around the country now. Constantly changing her selection, giving me little pieces of cheese to try; that’s where my love for cheese came from. My mother still works in the cheese industry and passes on her knowledge, showing the same passion and love as always.
I did follow in my mother’s footsteps and became a cheese maker, producing soft and hard cheeses that were all award-winning. I loved being an artisan cheese maker and I’m now thrilled to be running my own online cheese business, showcasing a wide variety of amazing British cheese.

I also share my passion for cheese with my family. My children are now at the age where they’re starting to understand the differences in tastes and textures, they do tell me quite clearly what they do, and don’t like…
